The BIMx Wow Factor – A Case Study
July 11 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm PDT
ALL MEMBERS – BIMx has become an instrumental part of the design process for The Foundry project by Mark Davis Design. Located in the heart of Walnut Creek California, The Foundry will be a 25,705 S.F. urban ‘food hall’ with an open air courtyard, craft beer garden, outdoor theatre, artisan cocktail bar, and will host live music and events.
Mark Davis has been using BIMx to communicate the design and details with the owner from early in the design process. “The owner has been extremely engaged because he can easily visualize what the project is going to look like,” says Davis. “He just eats it up.” Davis is also using BIMx to communicate with consultants during the design process, which is facilitating a smoother and more thoroughly coordinated project.
