A global outdoor manufacturing company seeks a qualified LOCAL store designer. Strong ArchiCAD and retail design skills are sought. Must be familiar and comfortable with template-driven work. Artlantis and GDL scripting knowledge a plus but not required. Please have a portfolio demonstrating 1-2 years experience with store design/delivering brand at retail and an ability to work within established retail/branding programs. Must be extremely detail oriented and able to work closely with project managers, etc in the field. This is a contract position that could go permanent. Qualifications / Requirements: . A professional degree in architecture . 3-6 years experience with an architecture firm. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS WORKING WITH ARCHICAD IN A PROFESSIONAL OFFICE. Familiarity with Type-V construction . Architect-In-Training
Currently in my last phase of my Intern Development Program requirements (less than 45 units left), and have started taking my exams. Looking to work with creative individuals who enjoy the profession and the technology that we use and enjoy exploring methods of implementation both into the schematic phase and documentation phase. My experience varies from high-end custom residential homes to highly complex commercial/institutional facilities (data centers, hospitals, etc), to industrial/mechanical design.
My relationship with Archicad began in 2001, a few years later I was training professionals throughout the state. Also using regularly Maxons Cinema 4D both as a modeling tool to integrate into Archicad files, a stand alone rendering environment, and for animations/short film creation. Also proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 4 Master Collection. Though there are areas which I can gain more experience and understanding in all of the above aforementioned software applications. As well as there are many aspects of the profession in which I would like to gain more experience and understanding as I build the foundation for my career.
